Alena has graduated from Engineering Economics Department of Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics in Moscow in 2007 and was awarded a degree of Planning Engineer specializing in "Enterprise Economics and Management (Construction)". From 2007 till 2009 she used to work in consulting company as a specialist in project management and planning. She was consulting Russian construction companies on applying of project management methodology and scheduling software.

In 2009 she was awarded the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Government Scholarship for studying and doing research at Kyoto University.From April 2010 She is studying at the Laboratory of Professor Kobayashi as a doctoral student.

Emine Yetiskul, Researcher, Phd.

Emine Yetiskul received the Bachelor of City Planning degree in 1995 and Master of City Planning in 1998 in the Department of City and Regional Planning at Middle East Technical University , Ankara, Turkey. She was conferred the degree of Doctor of Engineering in 2006 in the Department of Civil Engineering at Kyoto University , Kyoto, Japan. Her dissertation topic is "Structural Changes in Deregulated Air Transportation Systems ". After her graduation, she conducted research in the Institute of Transportation Studies at University of California, Berkeley, USA. Her research interests include transportation economics and policy, industrial organization and air transportation. Prior to arriving at the Laboratory of Kiyoshi Kobayashi, she had several years of professional experience as a city planner in the Ministry of Public Works and Settlement in Turkey.

My study is focused on developing advanced asset management system which can be applicable to various countries. Road administrators, engineers and researchers often face problem about "What is most effective?" For maintenance activities to meet the economic criteria, they must produce benefits in excess of their costs. A minimum of expense is, of course, highly desirable; but the road which is truly the cheapest is not the one which has cost the least money, but the one which makes the most profitable returns in proportion to the about spent on it.

Highway infrastructure will be increasingly developed when accompanied with the expansion of cities in Vietnam, typically of Hanoi Capital and Ho Chi Minh City. The new type of highway, such as expressway, has been being constructed to satisfy the greater and greater transportation demands and partly relieve the traffic congestions in the two of so-called megacities in Asian Region, and to make more rapid linkages between the provinces nationwide. Thus, a research to apply an expressway infrastructure asset management system is indispensible for Vietnam’s sustainable development and the citizens’ better life. My doctoral course at Kyoto University under the academic supervision of Prof. Kyoshi Kobayashi and Associate Prof. Kakuya Matsushima and financial support of Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology is targeted at dealing with this issue.

Nababan obtained the Bachelor in Engineering from Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Institute of Technology Bandung Indonesia (ITB) and the Master of Science from Urban Development Studies Program University of Indonesia (UI). Nababan is also registered as a staff of Indonesian Ministry of Public Works  since 2002.His current research is related to urban infrastructure asset management and role of local governments in urban infrastructure provision such as road pavement and water supply system. The effect of migrant workers on the host country

The research concerns migrant workers and the economic effect that they bring to the host country. The research aims to investigate the effect of migration on relative price of the wage rate and welfare of the native inhabitants ion the host country, Malaysia as a case study.
The methodology for the research would involve mathematical models, to be developed to measure the effects. It is hoped that the outcome of the research will help to further improve the current systems in Malaysia.

My research proposes a Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model in a city level in order to provide a comprehensive economic framework to evaluate the effects of policies, such as highway expansion projects in land use planning to contribute effective urban development process of Hanoi. A theoretical general equilibrium model is proposed at first to analyze the economic and environmental impacts of policies qualitatively. The model will be expanded for empirical studies for Hanoi city. By applying the model to the case of Hanoi city, I can derive the policies’ impact toward both city’s economies and its environment quantitatively. It may give a prototype framework to proceed in cities of Vietnam.

空港コンクリート舗装のハイブリッド劣化モデルに関する研究

 

不同沈下を考慮した空港コンクリート舗装のアセットマネジメントにおいては，コンクリート舗装の劣化モデルの作成およびライフサイクル費用や補修需要を推計 することが求められています．しかしながら，現時点において空港コンクリート舗装の劣化状態に関する蓄積されたデータを利用することは一般的に難しい状況 にあります．本研究においては，空港コンクリート舗装の劣化データ（ひびわれデータ）が存在しない状況の下で，力学的劣化モデルによるコンクリート舗装の 劣化予測を試みます．しかしながら，力学的劣化モデルに内在する地盤条件やコンクリート材料の疲労強度に関する不確実性が介在するため，力学的劣化モデル 結果の統計的規則性に着目し，継続的に劣化現象に関するデータを蓄積しながらベイズ更新する方法論を開発しています．さらには，動学的予算配分計画を実施 し，空港コンクリート舗装に関する上記ハイブリッド維持管理モデルを用いた予算管理手法について研究を進めています．

北原　彩佳

少子高齢化、過疎化の進む日南町の「３０年後の日南町の姿プロジェクト」の事務局をしています。現在日南町は、地域コミュニティの維持、自治体の財政問題、社会環境を含めた社会資本の維持管理等様々な問題を抱えています。このような問題は全国の過疎自治体に共通する問題です。今後は高齢化率は高水準ではあるが、安定的に推移するものの、人口減少は続くものと考えられます。さらに、この現象は今後３０年で日本各地の自治体が陥る可能性があります。そこで、このような過疎自治体が、維持されていくための方策を提案するために、鳥取県日南町を対象とし、町の目指すべき方向性や施策や行動等をロジックモデルとして構築し、過疎地のモデルとして、検討していきたいと考えています。

近年、マレーシアでは焼畑農業から発生する大気汚染物質を含んだヘイズが人々の有害となっています。
本研究では、統計的時空間モデルを用いて、将来時刻における大気汚染物質濃度をシュミレーションし、

研究テーマ：ロジックモデルを用いた都市高速道路の維持管理マネジメントに関する研究                  

概 要；わが国における都市高速道路は，戦後の国土復興の中で自動車交通の重要性が国民にも
 　　　  認識され，1950年代に始まる高度経済成長期を中心にして大量に建設され，わが国の都市
          部における経済成長と国民生活の向上に大きな役割を果たしてきました．
          しかしながら，今日では供用後30年以上の構造物も40%近く占めており，構造物の高齢化が
          維持管理の上で重要な課題であり，最近になり，鋼橋の鋼床版等の一部に亀裂が発生する
          ような損傷事例が現れるようになるなど劣化損傷が多発する危険性は高まってきています．
          また，償還満了時における2050年には，供用後５０年以上の構造物が多くを占めることになり，
          現時点から予防保全を含めた対策が必要であると考えられています．
                                         このような背景を踏まえ,都市高速道路におけるアセットマネジメントの取組みとして，維持管
                                         理業務の継続的改善に資するために開発した維持管理ロジックモデル並びに中長期的に最
                                         適な維持管理計画の策定を支援するために開発した橋梁マネジメントシステム（BMS）を用い
                                         た政策評価、効率的な維持管理マネジメント施策について研究を行っています．

【研究内容】
公共インフラにおけるアセットマネジメントの必要性を鑑み、港湾施設における矢板構造物の維持補修問題をとりあげ，予算制約のもとで地震被害も考慮にいれた期待ライフサイクル費用を可能な限り低減するような維持補修，優先政策を求めるための方法論を研究しています。

【WS（ワークショップ）テーマ*】　（＊経営管理大学院　専門職学位過程での必須科目）  

WSの研究テーマでは，港湾矢板構造物を対象として，予算制約の下で期待ライフサイクル費用の低減に資するような個別矢板の維持補修政策と，矢板群全体を対象とした補修優先順位を求める方法論を提案することを目的としています．その上で，地震動に対する矢板背後地の地盤安定性を評価する力学的モデルと，所与の維持補修，優先政策の下で矢板群全体の劣化・補修過程を考慮したシミュレーションモデルを構築する予定です．

本研究では，交通管制システムが膨大な数の機器群で形成される大規模システムであること，システムが階層構造を有しており，個々の機器の故障が施設全体の故障に発展する可能性があること，情報システムの物理的劣化だけでなく，陳腐化等に代表されるようにシステムの機能的劣化も重要な管理項目となること等に鑑み，交通管制システムのアセットマネジメントとして，機器レベル，機能レベル，システムレベルという，マネジメントレベルの差異に配慮した手法の開発を行っています．

【研究内容】

水力発電所の最適生産戦略に関して研究しています。水力発電所は常に電気価格の変動リスク及び河川流量リスクに直面しています。その二つのリスクを考慮に入れ、将来における一定期間中の収入を最大化できる生産戦略が求められています。オプティマル・コントロール及びリスクマネジメントなどの手法を用いて、この課題に取り込んでいます。さらに、将来における収入をシミュレーションで予測し、収入リスクの計量分析、及びそのリスクをヘッジする金融商品の開発も視野に入れています。

高速自動車道といった舗装構造物の予防保全的政策をマルコフ課程決定モデルを用いて、

期待ライフサイクル費用の側面から分析しました。

The theme of my reseach is making models which express the deterioration process of pavement well.　 This research has maimly two objects. First is reducing life cycle costs of Highways more accurately using models. Second is providing a new view point for construction metod from analysed data.
